Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
I made a plea deal on aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony first offenders act. I have completed my deal successfully. I also filed for expungement 10/13/2017. I have applied for a new firearm and was approved. Will I get in trouble if I go pick up firearm from the gun shop?

You will NOT have a first offender expunged. Because you think you can have a first offender expunged, I would contact the lawyer that was standing next to you when you entered the plea, and ask him/her IF you have completed everything associated with your first offender. IF you guess wrong, you violate your first offender status.
