Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
pleas
If someone pleas out of a charge, to a lesser charge, can that person choose to later want to have the case tried? Would it be the same as tring to have a conviction overturned?

Re: pleas
There are only certain instances in which a plea can be withdrawn after being entered. If it is not in the same term of court then there is no chance. You can not plea to a lessor charge then have a trial on the original charge.
