Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Georgia

Doctor refused to see my son

I made an appointment for my son whom is only 16yrs old, and has a mental disability. When we arrived for the appointment they proceeded to give me new patient paperwork, then i heard the employees discussing that this child has medicaid and how they don't take this, so i stop writing and walked to front desk and asked what is wrong, i told them he has bcbs as primary and disability medicaid as secondary, she went to ask the doctor and he said he doesn't care what type it is he is not seeing anymore patients with medicaid. I told them that they should have stated this when i made the appt, i wouldn't have to took off from work.

Re: Doctor refused to see my son

I am not sure how this fits into the categories you chose, since your complaint appears to be the fact that you filled out paperwork before finding out they do not take medicaid. Did you ask whether they took medicaid before taking off from work? You didn't ask a question - just seemed to vent about wasted time.
