I am 17 and want to change from my moms custody to my dads. Can my mom say I ran away from home if I leave without her permission?

Same answer as yesterday. You can do what you want when you are 18. YOU don't get to change custody on your own. It is real simple to understand.

The answer and law have not changed since yesterday,. You are 17. You cannot do it. And by pushing it you may land your father in jail - bad move. At 18, you can do as you please. Why do want your father to get in trouble?

If you want to change custody from your mother to your father, have your father file a petition to change custody. You can sign an affidavit, which is attached to the petition, regarding your desires to change custody. Your election would be a material change of circumstances. Under normal circumstances, this should be sufficient to permit the court to sign an order granting the petition.
