Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I have a 10 month old daughter and i recently got married to my husband who is in the military so i plan on moving to his duty station which is in Louisiana but he is not my child biological father. The biological father signed her birth certificate but has really been there for her since she was born. Would it be illegal for me to move with my husband without her father's consent?

That depends on whether or not there is a court order now.

If the father has not legitimated the child, he has no legal standing. Moreover, if he doesn't have a visitation order, he cannot even contend that the move would interfere with his visitation. However, if he can always legitimate and seek visitation in a Georgia court before you move or within 6 months after the move. Nevertheless, this will not interfere with your move.
