Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Can we allow our 14 year old to live with her 18 year old sister and her fiance? She will have adequate foo, shelter, and clothing, and is a good student in school. Local DFACS agents are unclear on the law. We understand that we are legally responsible for her. We just want to make sure that, if we let her go, we won't be considered having abandoned her or anything.

The safest measure is to give the sister temporary guardianship to allow her to enroll in school in that school's district. In addition, you should pay support for her food, shelter, and clothing. This is a simple process you can get approved in court.
