I was divorced in 1991.Can I take backmy maiden name now?

Yes, but not as part of the divorce case. It would be a normal name change petition. You would file a petition, advertsie it in the legal newspaper for 4 weeks and set a hearing date for the court to consider the request. If no objections are filed and the judge finds the name change is not done for the purpose of defrauding creditors or any other persons, then it should be granted.
