My 14 yr old child wants to live with me and not the mother. i am not the custodial parent ,she has been living with me since october and I am still paying the mother child suport. How do I stop the suport,its court ordered?

You would need to retain a lawyer and file for modification. If all parties agree on everything, it's likely simple; if not it may be far more difficult. Please call my office if we can help you on this.

You need to file a petition for modification of custody and attach an affidavit signed by your child making her election to live with you. You should certainly see an attorney about this and you should do it right away, because until you do, the child support continues to be owed under the previous order.
