Child custody
At what age in the state of Georgia can a child choose with which parent they want to live?

At age 14, the child can express his/her preference, and this will generally be honored by the court, unless the court finds the selected parent to be unfit or such arrangement is not in the child's best interest.

Until Jan. 1, age 14 if parent selected is not unfit. After Jan. 1, court can disregard preference if not in child's best interest.

(At 14 they can, in some cases, express a preference, although a judge can, for cause, not follow it).
