Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

My ex-husband has not seen our children in 14 years (due to me) but has paid child support faithfully. Now that he has a good job, I want to increase the child support payment. Will I have to allow visitation even though our children don�t know him? Our children will be 17 and 15 in August of this year.

If you have violated a court order in denying visitation, you could go to jail if he pushes the issue. And if you do file a modification of support, that opens the door for him to seek modification of visitation or custody.

It's not a matter of allowing him to do so. If the court order says he has visitation, you have to comply with it. Please note, regardless of whether you choose to file a petition to modify child support, he can exercise his rights under the current visitation order, and file a motion for contempt if you refuse to allow him to see his children.
