Family court in Georgia

1) I filed for divorce and custody of my kids 2 months ago. My wife never responsed with a ''Answer and Counter Claim'' (Kinda making the divorce uncontested). It is now pass the deadline for her to file. The hearing is scheduled for 02-03-2001. In Georgia Family Court, at the hearing can the judge grant me the divorce decree and leave the custody issue pendindg or will my entire ''Compliant for Divorce'' be given which includes the divorce and custody of the childern.

2) My friend wife's filled out an Interogatory incomplete. She gave only witnesses names but no additional information such as address, phone, statment, etc. There was a ''Motion to Compel'' filed in the court with no response from my wife yet. (It has been 6 months) Will she be allowed any witnessness at the trial since she did not complete the Interrogatory ?

3) If a witness impeaches themselves, what does that mean in regards to a divorce trial?

It sounds like you and your wife are both acting without attorneys, and that is a HUGE mistake if kids are involved. Please get an attorney now. I promise you the judge will not help you try your case, and you will not get what you want.
