Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Grandparents right to see grandchild

what rights do I have as a grandparent to see my grandchildren? My daughter gets mad at me because he never wants to go home w/her - he hates it and she seems to be jealous bcause he is(was) so very close to me. it has been 5 1/2 weeks! I am so sick and heartbroke and worried to death, I need him in my life, and he needs me, he is treated like a stepchild because my daughter has a set of twins by a deadbeat which she is obsessed with and if he says i can't see him them she won't let me. I need advice, I'm ready to simply die from my heart being broke knowing that my grandson is being made to forget me. Help? Thank you!

Re: Grandparents right to see grandchild

Unless you request such rights from the court for cause, you have no parental rights as the grandparents.
