Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

My husband was convicted and sent to prison for having sex with a minor. He has served almost 2 years and expects to be released early from a 4 year sentence this year. I would like to file for divorce before he is released, because I have been told that this would be better than waiting until after. We do have 4 children. I would like to know how to go about this as quickly as possible. I don't have a lot of money for attourney fees. I know he will contest. We live in the state of Georgia and he is at fault but will that make a difference?

If you want things to gop badly, do it without counsel. Hiring a lawyer will help, and, unfortunately, may be expensive if he contests. However, if your children are important to you, find the funds to get quality counsel. It will pay off. Fault, when it is sex with a minor, could be very relevant to the outcome.
