Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

i left some personal property ( pictures of my daughter and things of that nature) at my fathers house when i moved out of state to work. i have asked him to give it to another family member so that they could ship them to me but he refuses. i would like to know what i need to do to get my property back?

You may want to send a letter to him certified mail/return receipt or priority mail with delivery confirmation specifying the items you believe he has at the house. In the letter give him a deadline to turn the items to your designee or you will take him to court for the return of the items or their value. If these things are sentimental, you may want to sue for their return.
