Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Can I be kept from a neighborhood?

My boyfriend is going through a divorce and setting up a time to move his stuff out. The lawyer for his soon-to-be- ex put as a stipulation of picking up his things, that neither my family, nor I could come to help. I do not believe they can legally keep me from going, IF I stay on the street and do not go into her yard/house. There are no legal documents regarding me and I have done nothing to warrant any, I just want to be able to accompany him there, help how I can and go...all from the road in front of the home.

Can they legally keep me from going, barring a restraining order or something?

Thank you.

Re: Can I be kept from a neighborhood?

The decree cannot keep you from coming into the neighborhood, assuming you don't otherwise trespass, but your boyfriend will be in contempt of the decree.
