Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Privacy

I ave been divorced for 5 years. My ex-wife won't leave me alone (we have no kids) She call, mails letter, certified and not. I have changed my number, refused to go pick up the mail. Now she has contacted a neighbor who is a stranger to her and an acquaintance to me; she has told this neighbor I owe her money and am behind in alimony (which I am not) and to deliver a message to me with her phone number. Is there anything I can legally do that can stop her from discussing my legal, financial obligations with my neighbors and to leave me alone?

Depending on the language of your agreement and decree, you may be able to file a motion for contempt. You may have other remedies and should speak with an attorney about the case as soon as possible.
