Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

This question is about child support in the state of Georgia. Basically, I pay 510 a month for my 3 year old. Recently, I was told I have to pay an extra 200 for insurance, in which my child's mother pays for not to mention lives with her. I can't afford to pay 700 a month. From nowhere payments were deducted without my consent..this has not happened before...What do I do?

Payments don't change by themselves. There was obviously a court order, and you have left out how it happened. Since you left those relevant details out there is no way to answer you.

If your income has declined, you can file a motion to modify the child support. Also, if you don't already have visitation, a significant modification of visitation will also cause your child support to decline.

Did you receive court or child support notice of a hearing regarding the change in payments? If so, did you respond? If you didn't receive proper notice of a court hearing, you may be able to dispute the current decision by the court.
