Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
What recourse is there when a judge makes assumptions about facts that are not presented, does not give you a chance to respond and then rules against you based on those assumptions?

Since we weren't there and you gave no specifics (such as what type of case it was, how long ago it was, or what happened), no one here can answer you at all. The person you should be asking is your lawyer, and hopefully you did not make the mistake of representing yourself.
You are asking lawyers here to fill in the facts not presented and make assumptions, then give you an answer and tell you what to do with no facts whatsoever. Your questions are for the lawyer handling the case.
I agree with the previous answer. If you believe you're entitled to an appeal, you should hire an appellate lawyer.
