If a have a restraining order against my abusive x-husband, can my child, who is a minor, invite him over to visit? If so, which one supercedes in court; the invitaion, or the restraining order?

The Judge won't have trouble figuring out if a minor (or anyone else) can overrule his/her ORDERS.

I agree, you husband is the adult and should realize that if he comes to your house, he violates the judge's order and can go to jail for the violation. The father can meet the child elsewhere.

If your husband pulls that stunt, you possibly can have him arrested. He can't choose to violate a judge's order because a child asks him to do so.
