Separation

My wife walked out on our marriage of seven years 3 weeks ago. We are currently sharing custody of the children she has them one week and I have them the next. I am still in our 3 bedroom house and she moved to a 2 bedroom apartment. She is saying she does not know what she wants. I am just wanting to prepare myself for whatever happens, please help me on what I should be doing in case this goes to a divorce.
