Re: taping phone conversations

What is the purpose of the taping? As long as both parties know of the taping it is not per se illegal but what are you using the taping for?

Re: taping phone conversations

Georgia is a one party state, so as long as one of the parties to the conversation has consented (and is legally able to consent) it is legal to record the conversation. Different rules may apply if the call is with someone in another state.
