when ur parents arent living together as in one moves out do i have the right to choose who i want to live with? im 15 yrs old and my mom hates the schools i go to but i love them and she is moving to get my sisters and i a "better education". i want to know if i can choose who i want to live with if my father stays in our current house

No, you can't.

(If either parent files a custody case, you can ask to be with one parent if that happens).

Under the code, if your father wants custody of you, the judge will consider your wishes. This is so for those children who are 14 and over.

You should talk this over with father and let him hire a lawyer and handle the petition.
