misconduct

can an emploer write you up for not doing overtime for misconduct when you are covered under the family medical leave act..I have been written up and something put in my personal file..

Were you approved for leave under the Family and Medical Leave Act? How long were you out? Were you written up for not working overtime while you out or for not working overtime when you came back to work? Was there any consequences for the write-up?
