Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia
Alimony in Divorce
The Final Divorce Decree was filed in court on 1/3/2008. I was ordered to start paying alimony on 1/1/2008. Can I be ordered to pay alimony be divorce is filed in court?

Ask your lawyer. Otherwise, you won't likely get second-guessing of a court order here, and if you did, it won't get you out of the order or a contempt charge for not following it.
