Generally, most states require that you file in the county where the defendant resides. If the company is registered to do business in Georgia, then they must have a registered agent on file with the Georgia Secrtary of State's office. Assuming you have a breach of contract claim, you can also file in the county where the contract was exceuted, or in any county where the company did business. If your claim is less than $15,000 you could file in Magistrate Court in the appropriate county. If the company has no ties to Georgia, then you will likely need to retain a Colorado attorney to file suit there.

Check your contract, there may be jurisdictional and choice of law provisions, or even an arbitration clause that would dictate how you would proceed.
