Can you sue the party to adultry?
I am in the middle of a divorce and have been harassed by my husbands mistress and would like to know if I can sue her for her part in adultry.

The short answer is, no. Georgia law used to allow an suit for alienation of affections. In this action, a party could sue their spouses paramour for the breaking up the marriage. About five years ago the law changed.

Technically, you can't sue her for adultery or interfering with your marital relationship but you might get your lawyer to get creative and sue her for intentional infliction of emotional distress. Just a thought.
