Your rights will depend on the size of the employer and the evidence.

You may want to read the EEOC's website on retaliation to get familarized with the law. The website is written for nonlawyers.

After you read the site, you may determine you don't have case. You may also having a working knowledge to consult with an experienced attorney to discuss your rights.

As the EEOC website's will disclose, you have a short period of time to file an EEOC claim. (www.EEOC.gov). Unfortunately, you must file a EEOC charge before you have the right to sue in court for sexual harrassment.

Although you don't need counsel to file a charge, it will defintely be worth your while to schedule a consultation with an attorney to discuss your rights and discuss strategy in presenting your charge to the EEOC. You don't want to file a charge without being versed of how to present your claim. People frequently stumble during this early phase and destroy what may be a good claim.
