Writ of Fieri Facias

We have a writ of fieri facias against my husbands father for unpaid child support. The writ was issued in 1997, and we just found out where his father is. Is it too late to collect on this judgement? Is there anything that we can do?

Even though the fieri facias was not timely renewed in seven years, I believe you can still collect on the judgement, e.g., by garnishment or other means. Consult with a local attorney to explore your options.
