Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

My boss at work keeps sending out religious emails that include prayers and stories about GOD. They are sent out to everyone in his district. I feel uncomfortable about the fact that he keeps doing this it's creating a feeling that if I don't believe what he does then I will be looked at different

Since I am also gay I feel like if he were to find out this would be more of a problem, what rights do I have and what can be done ?

What size is the company? If you are a covered employee under Title VII, you should discuss this with HR or your second line supervisor. For private employers, there must be 15 or more employees who worked for the employer for at least twenty calendar weeks (in this year or last).

It is religious discrimination when, among other things, an employee is forced to participate or not participate in a religious activity as a condition of employment.

Have you talked to your supervisor about no handing these items to you? Also, you can talk to HR or your second line supervisor. After you tell your supervisor or others who are outlined in the employee handbook about your refusal to participate in the receipt of religious items and statements, if they discriminate against you, file a charge with the EEOC. You have 180 days from the date of the occurrence to file a charge.
