Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

If my doctor puts me on stress leave from my job after I use my sick time what am I entitled to? They attempted to sell me FMLA however that means I wont be paid. Is there any temporary leave benefits from GA that I can look into?

You are correct that employers are not required to pay employees while they are out on FMLA leave. However, you may be eligible for short-term disability benefits if your condition prevents you from working. Check with your employer's HR department and, if you are eligible, have your doctor complete the paperwork.
