Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

Issues occuring at work

Can an employer legally make an employee stay past his or her scheduled hours in the state of Georgia. Also, is there any way to go above his or her boss legally to discuss work related issues and keep it annonymous so that the boss doesn't know.

The employer likely cannot "make you" but keep in mind that employment is generally "at will" and employees can be terminated for any or no reason (with few exceptions for discriminatory reasons). The employer may choose to hire employees who are more flexible (or willing to put up with it). You also have the freedom to seek more suitable employment. Internal politics and discussions are generally not legal issues.
