Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia
While traveling from the US to St. Thomas on business I came down with vertigo. I was treated in the St. Thomas hospital. No insurance options were offered by my employer and I had / have no insurance coverage. Am I responsible for this medical bill? or is the employer responsible?

You might post in the workers comp category (with many more details), but otherwise you post no facts to show the employee could be liable. It is a near certainty you are liable for your own medical bills - the hospital certainly is not going to try to figure out who is liable other than the person they treated. As far as insurance, there is no law requiring all employers to provide you with insurance and if you choose to not get your own, it is at your own risk.
