I recently started a job for the owner of a mobile home park.

Remodeling a trailer.

They had me fill out a 10-99.

the add in the paper said ,

Help Wanted 20.00an hr.I was hired the demo of said propertybegan and when i turned my hrs. in ,he has refused to pay. Do I have any recourse? Thanks, Tom

Whether you are considered an employee or an outside contractor, you may still be entitled to be paid for your work. You should take two avenues to cover all bases: (1) File a complaint with the Department of Labor; (2) thereafter, file a lawsuit in small claims court. It goes without saying, you can't sit on your rights, so research the statute of limitation issues for pursuing your claim or consult an attorney.
