Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

Work Car Laws

I take a work car home everyday. Now because of gas prices they are making rules on what I can or cannot do on the way home from work. If I am restricted from stopping on the way home from work, can I charge them for still being on the clock? I would rather leave my car at work, but they force us to bring it home, and force us to drive straight home after work. We are also not allowed to charge them for overtime although we are all hourly employees.

Where can I find the laws in Georgia about taking home work cars? What an employer can or cannot do. There has to be some laws.

Re: Work Car Laws

Your question is a very complex one and depends on many factors and potentially involves overtime laws. Because of the complexity it would be best to give me a call for an in-depth review.
