Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia
My landlord illegally evicted me on accident. Some how my apartment number was mixed up with one that was supposed to be trashed out. All my things were in bags because i was moving anyway, However the men are saying it was nothing but trash in the apt anyway. Im giving them the chance to correct it but if they dont legally is there something I can do? I also have two witnesses to the men dragging my belongings out.

If they do not reimburse you for the items, you can sue for illegal eviction, breach of contract, and other matters. Depending on the value of the case, you can sue in small claims court (Magistrate) or State Court.
