Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia
landlord responsibilities
We have a leak in the water pipes between the house we are renting and the street resulting in a wet yard and a $300 water bill. The landlord is not being responsive to our requests to repair the leak. Do I have any legal rights to force him to take care of this?

Re: landlord responsibilities
You can't really force your landlord to care of it, but you can certainly terminate the lease and sue for the damages the leak has caused. Make sure that the landlord is responsible for such a problem in your lease.
