Legal Question in Personal Injury in Georgia
i was in car accident which i do NOT believe to be my fault-in fact, i believe the driver who hit me to be at fault due to excessive speeding, however, i was issued citation. now 1 month later before i have even gone to court to enter not guilty plea, i received a notice from hospital that they are placing a hospital lien against me for the other driver's medical bill in excess of 30 thousand dollars. i own absolutely nothing and my gross annual income is about that for a year. i have nothing left after payment of my rent and utilities, gas and groceries. in fact, sometimes don't have money to eat. will my insurance company fight this or do i need an attorney?

You should have contacted your insurance company after the accident. Call the insurance comany about the lien. If they will not defend you against the lien, you will have to retain an attorney. You should resolve this lien as soon as possible.
