Legal Question in Personal Injury in Georgia

My coworkers and I had just closed down chick-fil-a. After closing, we all drove over to Steak N Shake. BUT, when we pulled into the parking lot, there was some IDIOT in front of me. I tried to squeeze in between the curb and the idiot driver that was just sitting in the middle of the parking lot, but I ended up going up on the curb. Frustrated, I put my car i reverse, ot off the curb, and hit someone. It was my coworker's car...We parked and inspected the damage, and we found out that she's going to need a new hood. No problem right? Not really. I'm not insured on the car I was driving, so when she asked for insurance I told her that I'm not insured on the car. (The car is insured on my parents, just not for me.) So she left, went home, and the only information of mine that she currently has is my phone number. She called me when she got home (her paremts were PISSED) and her mom wanted to talk to me. She asked me for my name & my parents' #'s. I believe though, she got the wrong last name because my name is very hard to depict on the phone... & I didn't give her my parents' numbers because I CANT tell them. So IDK what to do... Can she press charges even though she left the scene of the accident? I'm definitely going to pay for the damages (ie: a new hood & it's installment), in CASH, but I do NOT want her om to hve my parents' numbers. What should I do?? Can I get in trouble for not providing my parents' numbers?

Also, what is the law according to this? I live in Georgia, if that changes anything.

Would it be my fault that I backed into her, or hers because she was too close behind my car?

&& one more thing, her parents think that this happened at Chick-fil-A, because she her parents didn't know she was going to go to Steak N Shake with us... so could that lie tht she told her parents affect the legality of all this?

You need to stop acting iorresponsibly. You committed multiple crimes.

First of all, in driving without insurance, you can spend up to a year in jail, be fined $1000 and lose your license. Your parents also can be prosecuted for allowing you to drive without insurance. If he damages are not promptly paid, the state can suspend your license for LIFE (until the damages are paid) in addition to the no insurance suspension.

You are in serious trouble. So are your parents, who can also be sued for damages.

You need to start acting responsibly and (1) tell your parents, (2) give the girl your phone number and contact nformation, (3) see a lawyer about the possible criminal charges and (4) determine, via that lawyer, the best way to address damages.

You will also need to talk to HER insurer, which also may sue you.
