Generally, the statutute of limitations is 2 years from the date of the injury. There are exceptions and additional limitations periods for certain specific claims against certain specific entities (like governmental agencies)

The statute of limitations is two years for personal injury. However, DO NOT push that envelope. Witnesses, documents, etc. have a way of disappearing, losing their memory, etc. Consult with an attorney ASAP.
