Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia
During the construction of my house in 1992, my neighbor moved the boundary pins to give him more room prior to my closing. He is now claiming Adverse Possession. Is that an accurate defense for him given his misdemeanor / fraudulent act of moving the pin? Do I have a case?

It sounds like you may have lost your case before you start. If you let this go 24 to 25 years without doing something about it, you possibly let him perfect his claim (which usually happens in year 20). Since every case depends on the details, you need to see a lawyer immediately. But at best you run up a big legal bill which would have been smaller at the time. At worst youhavelost part of your land with no remedy.
