Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

I own a home that I rent out. This home is in Georgia. The last tenant ran up excessive bills for Electricity, Water, Pool Maintenance, lawn care and repairs to an A/C unit. I did not authorize him to ask for these services on my behalf. He has left the state and will probably never be seen again. Am I liable for any of the bills he accumulated?

It depends. Are the utilities in your name. If so, you are liable to the utility companies and the tenant would most likely be liable to you. If not, then no.
