Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

I have been leasing to own my home from my sister and brother in law for 15 years withot any type contract.. i rasied my 3 children here. i recently had some legal trouble, nothing at the house, and fell a little behind on payment. He decided he wanted to sell house "formally" and i told him my son could get financed to buy it if he wold sell it to me for pay off. He offered to sell it to him for more than was owed when i moved in. He then said he wold split equity w me when he sold it. Now he is threatening to evict and avoids qestions about equity. I know if i move out voluntarily that i will get nothing. How long will it take him to force me out? What are my options??

Your options are essentially zero due to an unfixable situation 15 years ago. You CANNOT do a verbal lease to own a home "contract." That had to be in writing. So not spending a couple hundred dollars on a lawyer is costly. And you have kept repeating that mistake with "he told me he'd (fill in blank)". So you have no equity, and you're a tenant at will. Tenants at will can be evicted with 60 days notice for any or no reason. Your option is basically to pack and plan to move unless you can work something out with your family. If you do work something out, do not repeat your ongoing mistake - see a lawyer and get the deal written up.
