Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia
My niece owns a home in Georgia and lives with her fiance. House/mortgage/deed is in niece's name only. Fiance does pay a portion of the mortgage payment. There is no lease in place between niece and fiance. Relationship has ended. Does she have to formally evict the fiance? What is that process?

Yes. Your niece will need to provide at least 60 days' notice to vacate and then file eviction proceedings in the local magistrate court if the fiance does not leave within such period of time.
