Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia

My father passed away and did not leave a will. There are two cars that is in his name? How do I transfer the titles to my name? My mother doesn't want the two cars.

If your father died intestate, the spouse is entitled to 50% of the estate and the children are entitled to 50% of the estate. You must probate your father's estate to pay creditors, transfer relevant titles, etc.

If the estate is simple, you don't need an attorney. Many county's have probate packets to assist pro se individuals.
