In Georgia, what is my position if my husband dies intestate and I have stepchildren? No children of this marriage

If he has adult children, youare entitled to 1/2 of his estate and his children would split the other 1/2. However, there are assets that may not be included in that 50/50 split. In addition, you may be entitled to a year's support, which will increase the amount you are entitled to receive.
