Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia

My mother died a few years ago...

When my mother died a few years ago she left a will leaving everything to me. When I paid off her house I received the security deed in her name. What type of deed do I need to get the house recorded in my name. (Everything has already been probated and I am the executor and only child)

You don't use a deed. An assent to a devise must be drafted. Each one has somewhat different language tailormade to your case. They are inexpensive to do. Call me to discuss details.

You may need to simply execute an Executor's deed to yourself. Consult with a local attorney.
