if i wrote a will in ny and now live in ga is there anything i need to do?

The answer is "it depends." Generally speaking, as long as the NY will complies with the GA requirements AND if nothing has changed in your life, then you may not need a new will. How long ago was the will made? Have you had any life changing events (birth, marriage, divorce, adoption or changes in the ownership or disposition of property) since that time? Your relocation would suggest yes. .

The only way to know is to have your NY will reviewed by a GA lawyer and to have a new GA will made if necessary

I am licensed in New York and Georgia. As in most states, there are differences between the statutes. However, the cost of having an attorney review the will shouldn't be significant.
