Re: blood test/ fingerprint

You can make the police seek and obtain a search (or seizure) warrant for fingerprints and/or blood, but they will, no doubt, get a sample of both sooner or later (and legally.) That's the state of the law under the United States Supreme Court and I believe HA as well. However, I will bet they are bluffing (i.e. lying, to be blunt) about having any blood (and, very possibly, both the blood and the fingerprints) from the crime scene to compare it with! They are probably engaged in (lawful)psychological manipulation, hoping that YOUR FEAR of a match will cause you to confess. They probably do not care if you are confessing truthfully or not. If you are guilty and know you may have left prints and/or blood, you could be in deep trouble. However, if not guilty or, if guilty, but you know that you did not leave blood and/or prints, you are in good shape. Whether you are innocent or even guilty as sin, get a good lawyer on this right away as it is far too serious for you to have anything further to do with the cops on your own!
