Legal Question in Immigration Law in Hawaii

i have a green card but have been in canada since 2004, but visiting every year since 2004. my question is, can i come back to work ans spend 6 mos. in hi. with my existing green card? i was issued this card in april , 1999.

It seems that you green card had expired in 2009. I can't answer your question without knowing more about your situation. For example, how often you visited the USA, how long did you stay in USA during your visits, do you maintain residency in USA, or did you permanently relocated to Canada in 2004?
