Legal Question in Traffic Law in Hawaii
Traffic Bench Warrant
I recently found out that I have a bench warrant in hawaii from 1998 for not paying a speeding ticket and no insurance. I do not recall these tickets but need to have this bench warrant cleared up for employment purposes. I currently live in Virginia. What are my options to clear up this bench warrant.

Re: Traffic Bench Warrant
You can contact the prosecuting attorney's office to see if you can resolve these by entering a plea by mail pursuant to Rule 43 of the Hawaii Rules of Penal procedure or you can contact the clerks office, post a bond and come back to dispute the tickets or get counsel to review your case for merit and fight the case.
